SNK Rumbling How to Face the Founding Titan

The Founding Titan is the match that makes SNK Rumbling different from a generic anime brawler. When that silhouette stands over Paradis, your private duel is over. The official Discord listing is blunt: escape while evading titans or humans, build the airship or the boat from map items, or feed ammo to turrets and kill the Founder — which can lead into a Colossal Eren boss fight.

Read the round early

Not every server is in a Rumbling. If walls are intact and people are still testing Jaw in the courtyard, farm coins. If chat starts calling cannons, you have maybe a minute to pick a job:

• Gunner — stay on turrets, accept that you will not pad kills.
• Runner — haul ammo and build pieces.
• Shifter — peel mindless titans off the people doing the real objective.
• Evacuee — you already decided this island is lost; go boat or blimp.

Switching jobs mid-collapse is how you die with half a turret loaded.

Cannons: the kill route

Badge text: you earn “Defeated the founding eren (CANNONS)” by defeating the Founding Titan using the cannons. That is not flavor. Players who try to nape-snipe a wall titan like this is Revolution usually waste the window.

Practical cannon play:

1. Learn turret locations in a calm round. The getting started checklist told you to die near walls on purpose for this reason.
2. Treat ammo as a shared resource. Discord copy says feed ammo to turrets. If you are a shifter, drop back to restock instead of chasing a highlight clip.
3. Keep one person on the gun. Sixteen players is not a lot; three people “helping” on one emplacement while the Founder walks past is a wipe.
4. After a cannon kill, do not instantly leave. The listing says this path can continue into Colossal Eren. Re-check health, gas, and whether your titan test is still up.

FOUNDING TITAN DRIP (1 in 50 per server) is a separate lottery badge. It is not a strategy. Do not stand still hoping for drip while the island dies.

When not to fight

If turrets are unmanned, ammo is gone, and the Founder is already past the inner wall, you are no longer on the cannon route. Sprint to whichever evacuation is actually being built. A half-finished blimp with four people on it beats a heroic 1v1. The Rumbling checklist is the short version of this paragraph.

Beast scream can also steal the round: the “it’s a shame” badge is a server-wide turn into titans. If that happens, your cannon plan is over. Reset mentally, play the new rules, and live.

Founder variants you might be fighting (or playing)

The walking disaster is not always the same skin. Players unlock:

• Founder Ymir from a map parasite.
• Frieda Founder from top damage on Rod Reiss, with Ymir skin equipped.
• Grisha Founder inside Reiss Cave.
• Eren Colossal as a follow-up / serum path that needs the Eren skin.

Knowing which one is up changes whether you should even stay on cannons. Frieda and Ymir showcases belong on unlocks and founding titans. Do not confuse those unlock fights with the island-scale Rumbling.

After you survive

Spend the coins. Check badges so you know which of the three exits you actually got. Then either queue another Rumbling or swap to a raid while the server is calm. Controls reminders sit on controls if camera shake from the giant is throwing you.
